Roadford Rocket 2023

Roadford Lake Sailing Club is pleased to announce that the 2023 Roadford Rocket will be held on April 2nd 2023.

The Organising Authority is the Roadford Water Sports Centre, with on the water management provided by Roadford Lake Sailing Club.

The event is part of the Winter Series organised by Sailing SW and benefits from generous sponsorship from Allen Sailing and Admiral trailers.

Roadford Lake is the largest inland water in the SW and sits at a height of 120 metres between Dartmoor and the North Coast. it tends to get any wind that's available and can provide challenging conditions in the winter.

Lakeside Café on the opposite side of the lake does a good range of meals and snacks. Dogs are allowed on site on a lead, and there is a woodland dog-walk via the dam to the Café.

Entry fees are £20 for all boats, Juniors aged under 18 on April 2nd, £10. The entry fee also covers launch fees if applicable. Entry form below.
